IRS has posted an official start date for filing 2023 income taxes. Filing will begin between January 29th, 2024. However, some forms may not be available for filing until a later date.
The filing deadline for S-Corps, LLCs and Partnership returns is March 15, 2024. The deadline for filing C-Corps and personal tax returns is April 15, 2024.
Per IRS regulations: Beginning January 1, 2017 – in order to combat Identity Theft all taxpayers must show a valid driver’s license or other IRS accepted form of identification to the tax preparer before the return can be filed.
